| Online Trading Centralized Stock Order System IThe chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday proposed a system for displaying in one place all orders to buy and sell U.S. stocks and called it an essential foundation for the future of the financial markets. (NY Times) Online auction for Certificates of Deposit (CDs) PNC Bank, N.A. will join the online auction trend this week when it conducts an online auction for Certificates of Deposit (CDs). Beginning Sept. 23 and extending through Sept. 27, consumers can visit the site and place a bid. Fifty CDs are available to participants who will vie online to submit winning bids.
