L'ex-patron de CompuServe Allemagne a finalement été acquitté par la cour d'appel de Munich, ont rapporté les agences de presse mercredi 17 novembre. L'AFP cite notamment les propos de FrankSarfeld, l'actuel président de CompuServe Allemagne, se félicitant de cette décision finale, qui rétablit « une sécurité juridique » pour les fournisseurs d'accès à l'internet. Yahoo! et Lycos en Inde
Yahoo! et Lycos ont annoncé le lancement d'une filiale en Inde dans les 6 à 12 prochains mois. L'Inde comprendrait actuellement 1,5 million d'utilisateurs avec une projection à 4 millions l'année prochaine. (Abondance)

Executives of the two companies, which announced their joint venture in June, said on Thursday that the site sothebys.amazon.com will host its first online auction starting early on Friday and closing on Sunday. (Internet News)

EBay, Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com top e-commerce sites Web traffic analysis by Media Metrix shows many of the Web's best-known e-commerce sites are also the most popular stops for online shoppers as the holiday season begins.

EBay.com was tops, drawing 1.4 million visitors daily last week.

Amazon.com was second with 815,000

Barnesandnoble.com, 328,000

VitaminShoppe.com, 275,000
