According to a report released today by Forrester Research, Europe's Internet commerce will grow by more than 100 percent per year for the next five years The growth will progressively shrink the gap between European and U.S. e-commerce, with European e-commerce reaching half the size of U.S. Internet commerce. One in four online purchases thwarted, study finds.
The problem with the explosion of online stores is that more than a quarter of all the purchases attempted over the Internet never go through, according to a study.
