Nouveaux TLDs
ICANN publiera une évalutation aujourd'hui
Selon un communiqué sur le site de l'ICANN, l'évaluation des nouvelles extensions TLDs seront affichées aujourd'hui, le jeudi 9 novembre. Il est probable que la décision finale sera prise lors de
leur prochaine réunion du 13 au 16 novembre.



Les nouveaux TLD : pour qui et pourquoi ?
Depuis le mois de juillet l'ICANN, organisme qui supervise la gestion des noms de domaines, a initié un vaste processus visant à créer de nouveaux noms génériques (TLD - Top Level Domains). Destinées à enrichir et compléter les TLDs existants (.com, .net, .org…), ces nouvelles extensions pourraient être en place dès le début de l'année prochaine. Par Cyril Fiévet.
