For the blind, getting dressed poses a series of logistical problems. Careful organization — or a limited wardrobe — is necessary for avoiding fashion faux pas such as clashing colors. Shaped and sized roughly the same a cell phone, adevice, called Color Talk, contains a color diode sensor on one side. When a user lays it on a piece of clothing and presses a button, a small speaker in the unit announces the fabric's color. (NY Times)

Palm gets heavy with "cybersquatter" who predicts future announcement
Palm has got heavy-handed in a domain name spat with one of its users. The dispute stems from the mighty California outfit's announcement earlier this month to start a portal launch called MyPalm. Nothing wrong with that. Only problem for Palm is that execs decided on the name for the MyPalm portal without bothering to buy the TLD first. When they checked, they found Mypalm.com was already registered to a UK company, Intanet Communications. (The Register)
