«Prolin» Virus» [Contd]
Have we forgotten virus lessons?
A computer virus that poses as a Shockwave movie and urges victims to install the Linux operating system continued to worm around the Internet on Monday. British firm MessageLabs, which scans e-mail for Internet service providers, says it intercepted hundreds of copies of “Prolin” on Monday. According to spokesperson Alex Shipp, the bug is the “biggest ‘new’ virus since LoveLetter.” The bug first hit in Paris. (MSNBC)
