Hyperlink Patent Goes to Trial
Who owns the hyperlink patent?
British Telecommunications rocked the Internet in June 2000, when they claimed ownership of a hyperlinks patent (patent 4,873,662), registered 16 years ago. In December 2000 BT began its legal fight to claim back millions of dollars in licensing revenues from US ISPs byfilling it's first case against Prodigy Communications. n/e/tsurf
